Interview

How long does it take to record an album?

“It depends on the album, but it can take anywhere from a few months to a year for me to complete an actual record. I release singles quickly because I never stop working on music, but the albums are recording months to a year in advance. It’s always on my mind.”

Who are your musical inspirations?

“A mix of pop and rock greats. Michael Jackson, Madonna, Britney Spears, and bands like NIN, and The Smashing Pumpkins. I love all kinds of music.”

How would you describe your music style?

“It’s pop music with a big twist. Blended with alternative, rock, dance, electronica, rnb…a little bit of everything in each track. I love variety.”

Are you filming in music videos?

“I filmed two music videos during the ‘Worst Album In America’ era…a 3D video for “Keep On Loving Me” and a crazy video for “STFU.” Working on two new videos for ‘Looking Glass.’

What made you want to become a singer?

“I’ve always loved to sing and express myself through my writing. It seemed like a natural route to take.”

Do you want to get into acting?

“Definitely. I’ve always dreamed of being a singer/actor combo so I would love if that was in the cards for me. I’m definitely focusing on my music for right now, but I’ll be looking into acting very soon.”

Do your write and produce your songs?

“I write all of my songs 100% besides the covers of course. I’d say about 50% of my songs I have produced. I’ve also had the pleasure of working with some hot up & coming producers.”

Are you signed to a major label?

“I am not signed to a major label. I am an independent artist and I record and release my music through my own means.”
